Laboratory Animal Technician

We are seeking a part-time Laboratory Animal Technician for care of mice in a small laboratory.  Duties include animal husbandry, cleaning of cages, care, feeding, health monitoring and providing simple clinical treatments.  This position will also be responsible for other basic lab support including autoclave, waste management and other duties as assigned.  Experience not required but helpful;  Full training will be provided.  Position will require some nights, weekends and holiday work.  Requirements:  High School Diploma with 0-2 years experience along with a willingness to learn and a good attitude.  Must be able to lift 30 lbs and tolerate animal allergens.  Approximately 15 hrs. weekly -  $20. per hr.
