About the Job

Clinical Research Management, Inc. (CRM) is a Government Contractor specializing in infectious disease research in the U.S. and aboard. CRM provides GxP services, research personnel, and support services, contributing to the development of vaccines, drugs, and devices, to help prevent, diagnose, and treat human disease. CRM has an immediate need for a Laboratory Clean Room and Prep Technician in Silver Spring, MD.


RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Processes all necessary glassware and equipment for the facility including washing, autoclaving, and depyrogenation activities required for manufacturing and quality control use.
2. Maintains equipment logbooks and other forms to document proper cleaning and sterilization.
3. Cleans and sanitizes all cleanrooms used for production and filling.
4. Stocks all cleanrooms with necessary gowning and other materials used in the cleanroom.
5. Tracks inventory of all expendable supplies and places orders for new supplies on a timely basis.
6. Coordinates and performs decontamination of regulated waste to include packing for disposal; coordinates and maintains the laboratory coat inventory for the facility; schedules cleaning and fogging of cleanrooms to support current production efforts.
7. Other areas of responsibility include the QA/raw material warehouse, glassware and production prep areas and production high purity utility areas with general cleaning efforts to maintain GMP standards.
8. Writes and revises SOPs pertaining to assigned duties.


REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
1. Knowledge of proper cleanroom cleaning techniques.
2. Knowledge of GMP regulations pertaining to manufacturing human biologicals.
3. Knowledge of use of glassware washers, autoclaves, depyrogenation ovens, foggers, and other equipment necessary for assigned duties.
4. Must remain current with PBF and Army required training, to include annual mandatory GMP refreshers.
5. Experience in performing assigned tasks.
6. Specialized documented training in-house and through external courses.
7. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
