We are looking for two candidates. One supervisor for the A.M. shift, and one for the swing shift.
 


Position Description: 



The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for the following tasks:



  • coordinate production, scheduling, instrument maintenance and training activities
  • manage communication with project managers and deal with customer inquiries
  • track performance-based measures on the team
  • manage employee performance review and development plan programs

 


 


Minimum Requirements:



  • B.S. in Chemistry or related science

  • 3 to 5 years of recent environmental laboratory experience as a Scientist and/or Supervisor

  • Technical proficiency in the operation and/or theory of environmental laboratory instrumentation is required including Agilent GCMS, purge and trap, Chemstation or Target software systems.

  • In depth familiarity with the analysis and reporting requirements of EPA SW 846, TO15, US  AFACEE and related DOD programs

  • Conversant in NELAP quality or ISO 17025 standards and demonstrated ability to represent the department in audits to these standards. 

  • Ability to communicate technical expertise

  • Proven ability to develop and promote relationships with team members based on dependability, honesty, trust, and respect.

  • Must be PC literate
