Job Description:
High School diploma (experience preferred) Feed, house and handle animals. Change animal cages. Maintain sanitary animal housing conditions. Prepare and administer special diets and special water to designated animals. Maintain and sanitize assigned animal rooms, performing appropriate decontamination methods and procedures, including mixing of appropriate cleaning solutions and chemicals. Maintain required activity logs and records Carry/Pickup large food bags weighing 30-60 lbs. Good communication skills/written and verbal. Strong attention to detail. Health assessment of the animals. Basic Computer skills (Microsoft word) Basic understanding of biology. Must Pass the Purina Study Course before the end of Probation.
