Laboratory Technician

Currently, there are Laboratory Technician positions available at St. Luke’s Hospital.  Candidates will be conducting point-of-care testing for HIV/AIDS in the Emergency Department, and should be well-qualified and experienced in their Lab setting.  As a Laboratory Technician, he/she will analyze patient specimens, using automated and manual procedures following approved laboratory standard operating procedures.

Both full and part-time positions are currently open.

 

Qualified candidates must have the following:  

 

-          1+ years experience in a laboratory setting.

-          Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor of Science preferred.

-          A NYS Lab Technician License is required.

-          Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
