Launch Project Manager
About the Job
We are seeking a talented and successful Launch Project Manager to help define client requirements, develop high-level business requirements and project manage the overall web development, eCommerce, customer service and logistics areas during the critical launch phases for new clients and for new major projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education
- A minimum of 6 years of project management experience
- Experience leading enterprise eCommerce or Internet software development projects
- Strong organization, communication, interpersonal and motivational skills
- A self-starter attitude, strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise managing multiple large projects
- Strong client relationship skills
- Exposure to international business a plus
- Available for travel up to 25%
Responsibilities
- Creates business requirements, drawing from clients critical data points that shape requirements, representing needs, and documenting requirements to a sufficient level of detail such that action can be initiated
- Develops actions plans for each department and installs accountability model to drive to success
- Communicates project status and schedule, keeping clients and Niche teams fully informed
- Documents all aspects of project development through the use of project extranets, meeting notes, change request forms, and other documentation
- Works with Niche management team to coordinate resources for the project, including utilization of team resources, forecasting and budget management.
- Engages the right resources at the right time to seamlessly transition the client to work with the operational team
- Ensures all team members are prepared to operationalize the application and service
