Job Descriptions:
Individual will be responsible for first piece Inspections, First Article, Dimensional Layout and correlation with automated inspection equipment, programming of Brown & Sharpe CMM from blueprints or solid models, CMM operation, optical inspection (OGP), SPC implementation.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, 5 – 10 years inspection experience including 1 – 3 years turbine airfoil experience.
CMM programming / operating experience (Brown & Sharpe PCDMIS experience preferred).
U.S. Citizenship required for security clearances
Desired:
· Good mechanical aptitude / ability and desire to take a ‘hands-on’ approach
· General machining or shop experience / Inspection experience
· Experience in Mastercam version 9 or higher (our primary CAD system)
· Experience in Unigraphics version NX 4.0 or higher
· CNC Machine programming experience (EDM, milling, grinding)
· CMM programming experience (L-K, Brown & Sharpe)
· SPC background
· Good communication skills, ability to manage others
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
· Starting salary $55,000 - $65,000 commensurate with experience (Layout Inspector)
