What we offer\:
 
As part of the Henkel Pressure Sensitive Adhesives team, you will be the primary technical contact for key customer accounts.    
Collaborate with our Sales team, you will actively develop business at existing and new accounts to achieve high levels of business growth.
Provide technical service support for customers including application based product recommendations, complaint investigations, and analytical problem solving. 
Provide project management support such as justifying and scoping customer projects, identifying opportunities with a high probability of success, and driving projects against established action plans and milestones. 
Engage in professional and technical training opportunities including Six Sigma certification, advanced project management, and other appropriate professional skill education.
Explore and drive innovation of new technology platforms for pressure sensitive adhesives using knowledge and expertise of industry, applications, and customers.
Provide application area specific industry expertise through internal and external approaches including professional society leadership roles.

 

Qualification:

Who we are looking for\:



  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical or polymer materials related field is required.

  • Experience in the Adhesives industry or closely associated field is required.

  • Expertise in at least one specific coating and/or converting area is required\: hot melt, solution, water-based or converting operations (slitting, cutting, etc.).

  • Expertise in at least one PSA market segment is required\: tapes, labels, medical, graphics, or any of the larger volume specialty segments such as window and safety film.   

  • Experience in the Pressure Sensitive Adhesive industry is a preferred.


  • Understanding of polymer chemistry, effects on product properties, and analytical techniques used for polymer characterization is preferred.

  • Experience in adhesive and polymer formulation is preferred.

  • Willing to travel up to 40 to 60% of the time (some overnight travel)
