Lead Clinical Data Manager

We currently have openings for a Lead Data Manager to join our team. Lead Data Managers are responsible for leading the data management activities on multiple projects, facilitating tasks with the centralized data management teams and interfacing with the client and project team. They are also responsible for ensuring that data management services are delivered in a consistent, high-quality, and profitable manner, and they will serve as the primary data management representative during the business development process.


ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Achieves successful delivery of data management deliverables meeting internal and external client needs

  • Serves as the primary client liaison for data management issues
  • Tracks milestones, tasks, and overall budget for assigned projects
  • Ensures timely completion of all project status reporting
  • Interfaces with Clinical Operations and Analysis & Reporting project team members and/or CPC/EDS staff
  • Develops a plan and oversees timelines for activities between the last patient’s last visit and the database lock
  • Manages resources with functional management
  • Provides study specific training as appropriate

• Ensures customer requirements are accurately captured and there is consistency across a client’s studies

  • Reviews data management plans for content and structure
  • Provides case report form design oversight
  • Ensures quality control steps are properly planned and completed on all studies
  • Contributes to business development efforts in data management for the local business unit

 

Qualified candidates will possess:

·          Undergraduate degree in clinical, science, or health-related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience required

·          Advanced degree (e.g., M.S., M.B.A., Pharm.D.) preferred

·          Proven skills with industry standard clinical data management systems (Oracle Clinical, Clintrial, eData Management) or electronic data capture (EDC) software required

·          Multifunctional experience with clinical data management activities preferred

·          Strong sponsor interaction skills required

·          Prior experience in the contract research environment preferred
