Lead Enterprise Architect, CEA (1077)
GENERAL SUMMARY: The lead architect will be the project leader and responsible for all task management relations with Alion. Those task management responsibilities will include maintaining the schedule, coordinating progress and delivery of products, orchestrating the work performed by the team, and composing status reports. Our lead architect will also be responsible for the overall design of the integrated architecture and lead several of the capability views (CV) and alignment products. The lead architect will have the following qualifications. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Graduate degree in information management or information systems management, business administration, technology management, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
- Certification as an enterprise architect (EA) through a recognized program, such as FEAC.
- Certification as a project management professional, through a recognized program, such as PMI.
- Ten or more years experience working with large government or private-sector information (IT) programs or systems.
- Five or more years of experience developing and leading EA products and artifacts for both enterprise and solution artifacts; ideally will have functional knowledge of the EAs and systems used in the federal and defense sectors.
- Five of more years of experience in net-centric and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) analysis, design, and development activities to include XML, WSDL, SOAP, and UDDI standards at a minimum.
- Demonstrated experience with EA Framework such as, Office of Management and Budget’s Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) Reference Models, DoDAF, Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), and Zachman.
- Demonstrated experience with IT management processes, IT governance, configuration management, Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS), and SEI’s Capability Maturity Model.
- Demonstrated experience with IT methodologies and techniques, such as structured analysis and design techniques, object-oriented analysis, Integrated Definition (IDEF) modeling standards, Universal Modeling Language (UML), business process modeling notation (BPMN), and model driven architectures.
- CASE tools: Telelogic’s System Architect, IDS Scheer’s ARIS, IBM’s Rational, and Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft (MS) Project.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with personnel involved in policy, technical, operational, and program management work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Secret security clearance.
