The Lead Enterprise Batch Analyst requires a unique blend of both project and process leadership experiences in operational and development settings. Qualified candidates will be responsible for leading issue resolution of Production batch systems, planning and coordinating batch and environment related changes as required for testing and production preparation, as well as acting as the ‘point person’ for providing input to the business and IT on the batch and environment implications of new vendor patches and releases. Demonstrated experience in facilitation, coaching, and mentoring teams are key requirements of this position.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Coordinates strategic / enterprise vision for batch operations team
  • Serves as project manager for special projects assigned by manager
  • Represents Batch team as a regular member of Release Control Board (RCB) and Patch review teams
  • Plans and Coordinates activities required for environment preparation for testing activities and production.
  • Establishes operational process improvement standards and procedures
  • Performs vendor relationship management with multiple third party service providers
  • Leads issue resolution of Production batch and environment systems
  • Acts as the ‘point person’ for providing input to the business and IT on the batch and environment implications of new vendor patches and releases.
  • Coordinates batch schedule and environment preparation activities for testing efforts.
  • Report project status and issues on a regular and timely basis to the Program Office, team members, and other IT sub-teams.    
  • Acts as technical MetaVance expert

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline with an Information Technology focus; MBA degree or equivalent project management experience is desirable.
  • Strong management and development skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
  • 4 - 6 years of progressive broad-based information systems and business experience; experience in software engineering involving development and testing of applications is highly desirable.  
  • Demonstrated leadership of enterprise wide, multidiscipline, high-performance work teams / groups. 
  • Successfully developed and implemented new technology.
  • Demonstrated competency in project management and the execution of multiple or large projects.
  • Three or more years of business unit experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
  • Technical management experience in a dynamic high-technology environment.
