Role Summary/Purpose The Lead IT Business Analyst will work with functional process owners in order to translate and prioritize requirements for assigned area project and maintenance work. In this role you will be responsible for translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and managing requests for changes to the specifications. You will also determine which business requirements should be automated and how they can be integrated with other business and technical processes. Essential Responsibilities ·Execute cross-functional Business Intelligence and Enterprise projects by closely interacting with the Business Intelligence leaders, managers and consultants ·Work directly with business owners and IT staff to identify, rationalize, and document reporting requirements; Translate reporting requirements into functional specifications which detail the approach taken to address and resolve business needs ·Execute projects utilizing IT project management methodology, owning project lifecycle and coordinating business owner inputs (requirements, testing, and signoff) ·Obtain and maintain technical understanding of the application suites in addition to how the business uses this information and the data flows from system to system ·Develop and test Business Objects reports and digital dashboard reporting solutions; Identify critical data accuracy projects to drive analytics improvements to ensure consistent and accurate reporting across the business, and align projects to overall Business Intelligence vision ·Assist Project Managers with execution and evaluation of reporting needs ·Create timely project status reports and provide updates to Senior Management Qualifications/Requirements ·Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of professional IT experience·Minimum of 3 years experience in project management methodology (PMM)·Extensive experience (5+ years) with Informatica, PL * SQL, Unix Scripting, Business Objects 6.5 AND Xi.
