As a Lead Information Security Engineer at our Information Security Engineering Department, you’ll use your experience to provide technical leadership on information security topics such as data protection standards, secure network configuration, database and application software security, authentication and role-based access control.

 

Specific functions include, but not limited to:

·        Participating in developing security engineering road maps and enhancements in the areas of network security, software/application security, identity and access control, secure coding procedures and end-point security

·        Providing subject matter expertise on security protocols and data encryption stands including SSL, TLS, SSH, IPSec, WS-Security, Kerberos, and SAML

·        Maintaining knowledge of current threat landscape and the latest security technologies

·        Directory services authentication and authorization

·        Managing hands-on technical projects, scheduling and tasking, resource planning and risk management

·        Providing direction, mentoring, and leadership for a staff of security engineers

 

Our ideal candidate…

…has prior supervisory experience, and can demonstrate expertise in the design and implementation of host, network, or application layer security technologies across a large enterprise architecture as well as professional certifications in CISSP/CISM, GIAC, RHCE, Solaris Certified, Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE/CCMA, Cisco CCSP/CCIE.

·        Experience with implementing secure designs for large enterprise and/or data center networks

·        Advanced experience with and administration of network security technologies including Checkpoint, Cisco Firewalls, Juniper and Snort IDS, BlueCoat, DLP, and SIEM

·        Exposure to Identity Management and User Provisioning solutions

·        Administration experience with at least 3 of the following applications: Skybox, RSA, LogLogic, eTrust, PGP, Tivoli, Access Manager, Sun Identity Manager, Fortify, Active Directory/LDAP

·        Advanced operating system experience with Solaris, AIX, or Linux and the ability to apply security configurations, operate command lines, and construct shell scripts

·        Experience applying file system access controls, role-based access controls, web access management, multifactor authentication, and controlling privileged user access

·        Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills

·        Ability to articulate security concepts with management and cross-functionally with architects, system owners and developers

·        Operating experience within a security framework and controls environment
