Location: NYC, NY
Duration of the project: Full time employment (direct hire position)
Visa type required: EAD, GC or US citizens only.
Description:
- Agile feature design, development and testing
- Technical Lead for small projects when necessary
- Provide estimates and do iteration/ sprint planning
- Mentor and manage junior developers
- Responsible for delivery of high quality software components
- Follow and extend Engineering standards and processes
Ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have all of these attributes or skills:
• 3-4 years or equivalent experience developing Spring/Hibernate and JMS components
• Working experience with Google Web Toolkit (GWT)
• Solid working knowledge of Subversion and Maven
• Database agnostic with experience using postgresql or mysql
• Strong quality ethic and commitment to good automated acceptance test coverage
• Willing to work long hours if necessary
• Team player with positive attitude.
