Visix, Inc. is a dynamic company that designs, develops and supports software applications that allow users to create, import and manage visual communications from anywhere using a browser-based interface, and to deliver those messages to nearly any endpoint. Currently, we are seeking an experienced Multimedia Artist to manage and lead the creation of video, vector animation and still artwork for use in our products and Marketing efforts.

                                                   Lead Multimedia Artist

As the Lead Multimedia Artist, you will scope and estimate all project requests for artwork from the Product Development, Marketing and Sales departments while performing the following duties:

·          Manage all artwork project activities, including work effort estimation, timeline definition and providing written updates to all stakeholders

·          Manage all artwork projects to defined completion dates, providing all defined deliverables to requestor’s satisfaction

·          Design 3D and 2D video animations, many of which must be seamless video loops

·          Design 2D vector animations, many of which must be seamless animation loops

·          Design icons for web applications and Microsoft Windows desktop applications

·          Collaborate with programmers in the Software Development department to incorporate artwork into applications

Requirements:

·          10+ years designing multimedia artwork

·          Proficiency in Adobe After Effects

·          Proficiency in Autodesk Maya OR Autodesk 3ds Max OR Maxon Cinema 4D

·          Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop

·          Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator

·          Familiarity with video production workflows, including editing, compositing and rendering software (beyond those already listed here) is a plus.

·          Familiarity with Web application layout and design is a plus

·          Familiarity with Adobe Flash, including ActionScript is a plus

·          Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus

·          Bachelor’s degree preferred
