Position Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Workflow Consultant takes initiative in all situations by being an independent, responsible representative of SunGard EXP. Lead and facilitate requirement sessions with clients to gain a working knowledge of current work processes. Associate will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, assisting and/or conduct testing, preparation of system test strategies and development of test plans. Prepare and/or maintain process flows or business models for each assigned project. The Consultant may also assist with the training of clients on-site, as well as serve as a mentor to other team members during projects.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct Project Assessment Visits with client and project team to prepare the client for the implementation, establish realistic expectations and confirm the scope for the project.
• Review Project Implementation Plan with the Project Manager to become familiar with contacts, scope, required resources (EXP and Client), timelines, defines custom enhancements for development (if required), training goals, testing goals, and project goals.
• Create and manage a project schedule that meets the requirements and availability of both the client and EXP personnel.
• Manage project risk and communicate to client to set expectations
• Plan the resources to support the analysis and documentation of the client's infrastructure, business workflows and define the system to meet their scope.
• Facilitate the progress of the project and control the scope of the project.
• Provide support to EXP personnel during the design, development, configuration and testing phase.
• Support client on-site during implementation and testing as needed.
• Coordinate the resolution of implementation issues.
• Support client on-site during Go-Live.
• Ensure a successful client transition from Implementation to Support.
• Create daily and weekly project status reports
• Maintain an accurate personal calendar with supervisor so forecasts can be conducted
• Ensure your assigned project tasks are completed on time and within budget
• Manage assigned duties
• Continued education of new technology related to product suite.
• Travel is required as necessary for the successful completion of duties. Estimated travel is 75% and at times may require travel several weeks in a row
• Go-Live will require working nights/weekends

Position Requirements:
• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 6 years Project Management experience implementing client-server and web-based applications/software products
• Strong knowledge of EXP AG both from an operator and administrative perspective
• Basic knowledge of other components of the system such as Integration, EMS and OCR
• Working knowledge of other SunGard Omni products, such as Omni Plus, Omni Station, PlanOffice, Data Validation Web, OmniManager, OmniAdminWeb, OmniOnline, EXP AG, EXP PowerImage, a plus
• Background in the imaging, workflow and business process management industry or with imaging applications helpful including FileNet, Documentum, AWD, IBM, Lombardi, Pegasystems, etc.
• This position requires a background in mutual fund, retirement benefit or other financial industries.
• Must be able to lead a new project from start to finish
• Must be able to mentor new workflow associates as well as serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all project teams, as needed
• Must be able to provide workflow solutions to the client with minimal supervision
• Must be detail oriented, responsible, self-motivated and goal centered
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Can gather detailed requirements for client needs and work with the Business Analyst to ensure all requirements are met
• Demonstrate reliability and responsiveness to client and/or management requests
• Ability to positively represent EXP in front of client at all times
• Familiarity with client-server applications, web-based applications, databases and networking
• Strong problem-solving skills
