Lead Service Mechanic

Job DESCRIPTION

The Albuquerque location is seeking a qualified elevator and escalator mechanic for the service area. This position requires knowledge of and troubleshooting skills on Otis and competitor equipment. Local, same day, travel to customers within the specified route is involved.

High school diploma, G.E.D., and/or equivalent experience and education.

Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of Otis maintenance experience and must understand, practice and support AOMMS, utilize REM data for trouble shooting, adhere to all safety policies. Preferable experience on Otis equipment. However, any competitor equipment and escalator experience is a plus.

Needs to be a team player, possess strong customer relation and communication skills, and have a positive attitude toward callback reduction. Candidates must have a strong commitment to the Otis safety program and ability to work independently and be self motivated.
