SCOPE:

• You will be a key contributor in client’s leading edge Network Management Software team. Responsibilities include hands-on participation and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including product architecture, component design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Specifically, you will be responsible for feature development and maintenance for the software suite, an Element Management and Provisioning System built upon the BEA WebLogic application server platform.

• Other major responsibilities include managing feature development, including estimating effort, supervising junior members on the project, prioritizing workload and maintaining dates for the scheduled tasks.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• The successful candidate will have exceptional skill with the Java programming language, object-oriented software architecture, and significant experience utilizing J2EE technologies, particularly Enterprise Java Beans. A strong system programming background is required, specifically with experience building multi-threaded, distributed systems. Familiarity with database internals and data networking technologies is highly desirable.

• A BS in EE/CS with at least 8 years of experience or MS in EE/CS with 5 or more years of experience is required. 

• Prior experience with leading technical teams on design and implementation of complex software products is highly desirable.

• Effective communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment are essential for success
