RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Hands on testing and evaluation of various hydraulic and mechanical components
- Collecting and recording test data while running various tests
- Communicating departmental needs and expectations
- Creating schedules for customers as well as for team members
- Assuming the role of Deparment Manager in their absence
- Front line communication with customers regarding test status
- Constructing test setups according to documented specifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must possess Common Sense
- Minimum of 5 years working in a lab environment
- Experience in a leadership role preferred
- Must possess the ability to create and promote a team environment
- Display a sense of urgency in completing projects
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Fluent in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to individualize communication skills to meet the situation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Oversee department schedules and be able to forecast and resource requirements on assigned programs
