We are currently recruiting for a Lead UI Developer for a startup client in Seattle. Our client is a maturing startup with one of the leading engineering teams in Seattle. Creating a web experience that connects users with the information they need in an engaging way is the focus of their work.
This is an ideal position for an experienced UI developer with a passion for product design, innovative technology and creating rich user experiences. In this role you will lead the client development team, mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Ideal candidates will have:
· Proven leadership experience
· 2-4 years experience in Ruby on Rails development (Huge plus but not mandatory)
· Expert level UI development experience utilizing XHMTL/CSS, JavaScript/AJAX
· Experience with SEO, data modeling and creating rich user interfaces
