Lead Vehicle Control Systems Engineer-WI  

Summary     
Our client, a developer of advanced vehicle and electronics systems, is experiencing a great deal of growth in their defense systems business.  Because of this, they’re looking for a Lead Vehicle Control Systems Engineer to join their team.  In this position, you’ll work within advanced engineering groups regarding development of control strategies for advanced vehicle systems.  There is a special focus for this position on suspension and vehicle stability controls.  You’ll plan and direct control systems development through the entire life cycle and conduct research on new technologies to establish requirements.  Other responsibilities will include modeling, simulation, HIL development, and system testing, plus directing feasibility studies and proposal development..

This is a large, stable company with steady work.  Management is technically oriented and understands the bottom line needs of their engineering group.  They take the long term approach which has paid off in terms of sustained growth, unlike some competitors who chase the “hot technology”.  Also, they’re located in a scenic area with top ranked schools and within driving distance to larger metropolitan areas.

Qualifications

• MSEE and 6+ years of experience in control systems development.


• Experience in vehicle suspension, chassis, steering, brake or stability controls.


• Strong knowledge of control theory.


• Proven track record at a leadership level.


• Strong communication skills.
