Lean/Sigma Leader

The Lean Manager will support our client in its Lean Transformation through the implementation of our clients’ internal lean system while developing and implementing Continuous Improvement Projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. This person will mentor associates in Lean methodology and tools to eliminate waste in all administrative, manufacturing and support functions. The Lean manager will be held accountable for progress and be expected to use measures and tools on an on going basis.

The successful candidate will work with Site and Plant leadership to define the current and future state Value Streams to plan and prioritize continuous improvement activities. The Lean Manager will ensure activities are identified and actions are being taken to realize goals set for the facility. This person will be responsible for creating a standardized system and methodology to be used throughout the facility and follows up on improvements to ensure they are sustained. Where appropriate, the Manager will support lean team members through required and special team meetings while providing a high level of technical and operational recommendations in meeting productivity, material control, product quality, and customer service goals.
