About the Job

Invitation Homes is the nation's leading company for single family homes for rent in the markets we serve. As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will partner with the business to understand training needs, develop training materials, and facilitate formal learning sessions. The L&D specialist will work closely with Subject Matter Experts to develop effective learning solutions designed to advance Invitation Homes' unique culture and enable the success of associates and leaders in a high-growth, fast paced single family home industry.


 


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities



  • Analyze, design, create, and deploy appropriate learning solutions for Corporate and Field Operations. Use rapid and flexible design and delivery methods (virtual, classroom, printed manuals, job aids and reference guides, e-learning, and multimedia) that best suit audience needs and directly impacts performance.

  • Facilitate training programs using skillful application of adult learning theory to ensure learning outcomes are achieved. Draw upon a wide variety of techniques to ensure engagement, knowledge transfer, skill development as well as efficient and engaging learning.

  • Partners with Subject Matter Experts to identify, develop, and implement training solutions across the business.

  • Measures, evaluates, and analyzes feedback and understanding of associates trained. Adjusts materials and methods as appropriate.

  • Create test cases and situations for hands-on learning sessions.

  • Manage logistics of all training sessions and materials including scheduling and maintaining completion records in the Learning Management System.

  • Follow-up process with trainees to ensure knowledge retention and application.

  • Provide framework, guidance and coaching for other facilitators, as needed.

  • Design and implement measurement tools that indicate success or improvement opportunities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Moderate standing, reaching, walking, stooping, and lifting.

  • Frequent handling, use of fingers, talking and hearing.

  • Sustains substantially recurring movement to fingers, hands, and wrists.
