The Learning Management Systems Specialist is responsible for providing first level technical, administrative and coordination support to users of the company's learning management system (LMS).

As a successful LMS Specialist you will:

• Troubleshoot technical and non-technical problems - and act as the general liaison between clients, vendors, and other departments in the business.
  
  
• Work with a team of instructional designers and trainers by providing impeccable customer service to users who rely on the learning management system to access corporate university training.
  
  
• Monitor and maintain a host of online learning and communication tools such as intranet sites, discussion boards, social media applications, and general application content (news, home page, etc.).
  
  
• Manage the setup and delivery of (online and classroom) training events using registration and virtual classroom software.

We Require:

• Bachelor's degree
  
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with learning management systems, instructional design technology, or similar applications and databases
  
  
• General working knowledge of Flash and HTML
  
  
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office business software applications
  
  
• Experience with e-learning standards, tools, and blended learning approaches.
  
  
• Strong analytical and client relationship skills
  
  
• Strong business writing skills
  
  
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
  
  
• Self-sufficiency and motivation in ownership of work and tasks
  
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups/individuals
