Westminster Management is looking for confident, sales driven, out-going and motivated leasing consultants to join our growing residential property management team! Essential duties of this position include the following:
• To show and lease apartment units to potential tenants with a high degree of customer service, meet monthly lease quotas as assigned and achieve maximum occupancy • Generates and handles traffic, qualifies prospects, prepares lease documentation, and completes move-in paperwork and follows appropriate procedures • Collects rental deposits and works with management on past-due payments • Ensures the "model" apartments are ready for show • Reviews unit availability on a daily basis • Must be knowledgeable of all current market conditions • Must be knowledgeable of all required sales and marketing telephone techniques, and participates in any outside marketing events as required • Trains new staff as needed • Maintains courteous communications with residents, applicants, co-workers, management and representatives of other companies • Manages all resident and property files and processes all required administrative forms, reports and related information in a timely manner while entering all necessary data into the property management system • Plays an active role in the renewal process • Other duties as assigned
Job requirements of this position include the following:
• One to two years sales experience in a retail, hospitality, real estate, or multi-family housing environment or; • Under graduate degree preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and any property management software • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations and the ability to enforce them as necessary • Must be enthusiastic with strong sales and customer service skills • Ability to pass a criminal and/or background check and have reliable transportation
