The Role of a Travel Consultant:
This varied role will see you selling travel to your clients. Before you begin your role, we'll give you 2 weeks of comprehensive training at our Headquarters in Ramsey, New Jersey to boost your knowledge of worldwide travel, train you on airfares, and sharpen your sales skills. After two weeks, you'll be ready to join one of our retail teams. This is a unique opportunity to sell a product you love, while also benefitting from a generous commission structure and a fun company culture.
This is essentially a sales role. The more you sell, the more you earn. When you're not answering travel inquiries from new customers, you'll be getting in touch with your existing clients to let them know about the latest airfare deals and vacation offers. You will also need to offer exceptional customer service so your customers keep coming back to you when they're ready to book their next vacation. Keep in mind this is a full-time position working 5 days per week. Our offices are operating on retail hours 7 days per week, so your schedule will include evening and weekend hours.
What You'll Need:
ü Sales ability in a target-driven role
ü A strong academic record
ü Experience travelling outside the continental US (we love people who love travel)
ü Strong communication skills with the ability to make your clients feel taken care of
