Licensing Analyst I
Location: Richmond, VA

The Licensing Analyst I initiates the multistate RN licensure process for clinical staff; Collaboration between the individual nurse, the operational area nurse manager and the, Board of Nursing. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensures that data is entered and documents are scanned into the licensure database within assigned timeframes and based on established criteria.
  • Identifies required state licensure for individual nurses and creates the corresponding records in licensure data base.
  • Mails Universal Applications to the clinical staff for review and approval.
  • Ensures that all licenses and CEU records are keyed in licensure database.
  • Ensures that individual state RN licensure applications are completed and mailed to the nurse for review and signature.
  • Ensures that disbursement and fingerprint requests are accurately keyed into the system.
  • Serve as the point of contact for nurses and managers regarding the licensure process.
  • Assist new and existing nurses who require multi-state licensure in completing the required applications, forms, and documents for endorsement, renewal and reinstatement.
  • Follow-up and research outstanding applications.

  • Requires a H.S. diploma; at least 4 years of business related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Previous credentialing experience preferred.
  • Hours Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST.
