About the Job


What you will do
To ensure compliance with government jurisdictional requirements for individual employee licensing. To guide and assist the field with individual licensure processes to maintain compliance and assure their ability to meet and serve the customer. This is accomplished by working with the various field staff and management in all business segments, analyzing licensing and manpower data, ensuring timely completion of licensing forms, communicating with team members concerning licensing requirements, and monitoring compliance.


 

How you will do it


  • Conduct research on Federal and State requirements by studying existing legislation and advising management on needed actions for compliance to the requirements.

  • Input and maintain licensing requirements in the Licensing Compliance SharePoint/Smartsheet website to provide a US-Wide platform providing the field with access to current, accurate information

  • Ensure new hires, terminations, transfers are individually licensed, when required by law.

  • Ensure current employees are renewing their licenses timely and have a good understanding of the process and training requirements.

  • Provide and post training and guidance resources to field staff to assure timely completion of licensing requirements.

  • Establish and maintain good relationships with all levels of management across business segments to achieve the program objectives.

  • Ensure all required professional licenses and educational certifications are researched and obtained according to project timelines.

  • Maintain files, training documents, and license data.

  • Coordinate compliance efforts with local branch offices.










What we look for
Required

 


  • High school diploma or equivalent required plus three to five years of related work experience- preferably within the contracting/sales, construction or technical work environment.

  • Must have proficient computer skills within the following applications: Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, ACCESS, Desktop Publishing and Internet business application usage.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills.

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.

  • Must have the ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of projects, tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.

  • Ability to prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals. Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principals is required.
