The Judge Group has an immediate opening for a Licensing Project Manager in North NJ. This is a year long contract assignment. Required to have a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience and experience with permitting and licensing for heavy industrial facilities. This individual provides consultation to various environmental and land use projects. Please only qualified candidates apply!!
Plans, directs, organizes, negotiates and acquires all necessary federal and state new and modified existing air permits for the operating companies. Also provides regulator guidance on all related issues to assist the operating locations with compliance. Act as the Subject Matter Expert on air issues.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1 | Apply knowledge to prepare new and modify existing Title V permits. Maintain existing Title v permits and have an active knowledge of their contents. | |
2 | Identify and access existing databases of information to provide input to permit and decisions on new generation scenarios. | |
3 | Provide guidance to the operating departments based on your knowledge of both the State and Federal air regulations | |
4 | Negotiates advantageous permit conditions for operational company facilities and new business ventures. | |
5 | Develop and maintain permitting cost plans, schedules and budgets for all assigned activities. | |
6 | Works with engineers, contractors & consultants to evaluate & prepare operating and permitting strategies. | |
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

BS in Engineering or Related Physical Science, 5 years experience in air permitting. A comprehensive understanding of Federal and New Jersey State regulations governing the discharge of air pollutants to the atmosphere. A basic knowledge of modeling of air quality dispersion modeling and modeling protocols for permitting new equipment. Be able to, manage environmental contractors, work with the operating Departments and be able to communicate in a precise manner. | MS in Engineering or Related Science and a Professional Engineering License. |
