Position Title: Field Engineer II (Sparrow Augmented Intermediate Level Maintenance Facility (AILMF) Expert







Job Description:







Provide two years (minimum) of Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) on site support, training and technical assistance to the Egypt Land Forces (ELF) in Cairo, Egypt. Install, test, operate, maintain, fault analyze and repair Sparrow AUR missiles in an AILMF meeting customer and contractual requirements.



Provide hands-on guidance and training to the ELF personnel in operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and inspection procedures and techniques. Analyze and repair test equipment failures to determine root cause and take corrective action.



Travel will be required with a two year commitment to live in Cairo.



Required Skills and Experience:







2-4 years related experience in Sparrow repair, maintenance and training skills requiring a high level of technical proficiency. Must be capable of conducting on-the-job and formal training. Written and oral communication skills commensurate with a lead role. Perform in the field within the customer organizations with a minimum of direct supervision. Customer service skills are a must. Perform as a team member or leader adapting readily to an evolving work environment and changing requirements. Willing to learn and obtain the latest technical skills and professional skills available. Must have a secret security clearance.



Desired Skills:







Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining Sparrow AIM-7M H-Build configured missiles. Knowledge of the Sparrow AN/DSM-156B Guided Missile Test Set, high and low frequency test stations, hydraulic test station and calibration of the same.



Required Education:







1-2 years directly related experience OR associates degree in related field of study and 3-4 years directly related experience OR 6-10 years of directly related work experience.
