Job Description

Modis (a leader in the I.T. staffing industry) out of Columbia, SC. We have an outstanding client in Charleston, SC seeking an absolute Life Insurance pro for a contract-to-hire position with the following skills and work experience:

Policy Analyst
Responsible for policy analysis of Casualty lines of business including Umbrella and Excess Liability to ensure that the policy(ies) has been issued accurately and in accordance with the bound program, and to reduce errors and omissions.
Held meetings with Client Advisory to discuss results of policy analysis.  Suggest additional coverages and/or exclusions.
Contact Underwriters with policy corrections, and/or coverage enhancements; Responsible for mailing out policies as well as correspondence to the Insured discussing policy review results as well as a Summary of Insurance outlining the client’s coverages and exclusions. 
Accountable for monthly production goals as well as achieving mandatory 23 day turn around requirements.
Selected by Management to take part in special projects which included feedback on new processes and ideas for improvement in the Policy Management Department.
