A Manager with experience in consulting will manage and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for Life Sciences client companies. The Manager level job description includes providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and recommendations of the engagement team in context of the total engagement. Implements and oversees quality of deliverables and manages the team effectively to ensure exceptional performance and manages day-to-day client relationships
. Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities. Managers manage small engagements or components of large, complex engagements.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or Biological Science, or related science fields, and have 6 or more years experience in management consulting and/or pharmaceutical or biotech industry. From inception to initial public offering or global product launch, we seek comprehensive experience with clinical trials, commercialization strategy and R&D regulatory requirements. Extensive domestic travel to client locations is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Managers will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies.
- Manager level responsibilities include: providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by
supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement.
- Managers implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
- Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.
- Managers can lead small engagements or components of large, complex engagements.
- A minimum of 6 years consulting and/or industry experience in the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotechnology sectors, specifically in the areas of clinical trials, commercialization strategy and R&D regulatory requirements.
- A Bachelor's Degree.
In addition, ideal Manager candidates will also have the following preferred qualfications:
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation
skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
- Eagerness to mentor junior staff.
- An advanced degree.
