Job Description:

The successful candidate will work as a member of the eCommerce team at the direction of the Director of eCommerce Operations taking action against a prioritized list of projects and initiatives designed to optimize our websites on Demandware. Developers will work with both front-end and back-end technologies where appropriate and also be expected to contribute positively to the management of the company’s source code.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Adopt, develop and deploy scalable and appropriate website solutions using the Demandware development (customization) framework (php, ISML)
• Perform complete testing of all developed units and components including but not limited to browser compatibility handling
• Participate in all end-to-end and regression testing
• Comply with source code and release management processes
• Support all integration points and system administrator tasks and processes

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 3+ years’ experience using Web development technologies such as of web services, XML, HTML, CSS, Flash, Ajax, JavaScript, etc. in an eCommerce environment
• Previous experience with Eclipse IDE preferred
• Understanding of distributed, component-based architectures
• Prior work with engineering tools such as bug tracking and source code control systems
