Startup web company is looking for a mid level Linux Administrator to work closely with a senior network engineer in supporting the existing infrastructure as well as building out the network as the company continues to grow. Working in a 24x7 production environment the Linux Administrator will support, tune, and build the hosted Linux website infrastructure. The Linux Administrator will also collaborate on planning upgrades and implementations of new technologies, provide frontline support, and manage the corporate IT environment that includes Linux as well as Windows and MAC OS.  

 Requirements and nice to haves:

• Must have 2-5 years of Linux Administration, ideally with Red Hat and/or CentOS


• Experience supporting a production environment, preferably in a consumer web company


• Knowledge of any of the following is a plus: Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, My SQL database administration, Apache, Tomcat, networking


• Startup and/or small company experience strongly preferred
