Required Skills
Minimum of 5 yrs IT experience and a minimum of 3 yrs experience functioning as a Linux System Administrator.
Must have background in installing, configuring, and administrating Unix, Linux operating systems including Sun Solaris, SUSE Linux and especially RedHat.
Must have hands-on experience with Tier 3 Unix System Administrator support
Must have technical knowledge of the Solaris/Linux operating system including root commands
Manage and administer RHEL4 (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and RHEL5 servers.
Create and maintain server installation procedures and policies
Technical lead for client’s data center servers
Install, configure, and maintain multiple RHEL servers include ERP, Oracle RAC, Oracle Application Server, Web Sphere, and web server builds.
Install, configure, and maintain multiple Windows 2003 servers.
Manage and administer Symantec Antivirus Servers and web based reports access.
Manage and administer companywide Citrix farm.
Assist departments in server migration, resource deployment planning and implementation for enterprise wide active directory.
Assist in creation, modification, and certification of client wide server, notebook, and tablet PC, and printer procurement contracts.
Experience with SAN Administration would be beneficial in the deployment of servers
Experience with SAN related operating software and hardware is a plus
Compensation: 45,000.00 per year with benefits or 50,000.00 per year without benefits.
Per Diem is available for up to 11 months and 29 days, if you choose not to relocate
Client works a 37.5 hr work week.
Client is in downtown Nashville and parking is not covered. Parking ranges from $65.00-$115.00 per month.
