Nations Reliable Lending is seeking customer focused Loan Officers to fill positions in our Houston office. We are looking for a strong PHONE closer; someone who can maintain 50+ calls minimum per day. * We’re looking for an energetic, self-starting professional with the drive, determination, and sales experience to work as a Mortgage Loan Officer for our Banking Firm. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for calling mortgage leads and turning them into loans.

Areas Hiring and Position Offered:

Mortgage Loan Officer – Houston, Texas (Near Galleria)

Essential Accountabilities:

·         Promote loans through Nations Reliable Lending affiliates

·         Develop relationships with new and current borrowers

·         Promote ancillary products as presented by Nations Reliable Lending

·         Interview and pre-qualify prospective borrowers

·         Comply with all disclosure requirements and timeframe expectations

·         Advise borrowers of lock-in policy's ensuring locks are accurate

·         Inform borrowers and parties of loan product and options available

·         Maintain all licensing requirements including continuing education

·         Review loan guidelines, programs, disclosure updates and changes

·         Assist operations personnel in processing and closing loans.

Position Requirements:

·         High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred     

Work Experience:

·         Minimum 2 years of Retail Mortgage Banking experience

·         Detail oriented with a strong work ethic

·         Professional customer service skills and strong integrity

·         Computer literate with demonstrated PC skills

·         Effective verbal and written communication skills

·         Excellent math, analytical and time management skills

YOU MUST HAVE A NMLS LICENSE TO WORK HERE

Technical Competencies:

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

·         Basic ability to analyze personal and business financial statements
