Lyons is looking for driven outside-sales loan officers to build relationships within local communities and create sales from those relationships. We refer to our loan officers as Business Development Managers. This is not a role where you will be cold-calling from a list of leads. You will, however, be networking, attending community events, proactively reaching out to sources who can give you referrals, creating marketing plans, and finding other creative ways of acquiring clients. Experience is not required.
You should possess:
• The confidence and self-motivation to make contacts with potential strategic partners and borrowers.
• An aggressive, tenacious approach to sales, but with a firm ethical foundation.
• A strong work ethic and the willingness to put in the effort to satisfy borrowers and partners.
• The flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic industry which affords tremendous opportunity for a direct lender and servicer such as Lyons.
• A desire to succeed, learn and grow as a sales professional.
You may have an advantage if you also have:
• A network of contacts in your community that will provide a source of referrals
• A successful track record in sales or account management regardless of industry
