The Mergis Group, a division of Spherion Corporation, is seeking experienced Loan Processors to work for a growing national mortgage company.
Responsibilities include:
· Updating loan status
· Taking mortgage applications
· File caseload management including documentation retrieval and review, decision recommendation, and coordination of the loan closing.
· Evaluate the loan file documentation to determine if a loan should be approved or denied.
· Risk assessment for both lender and investor.
· Review of appraisals, qualifying ratios, loan file docs, tax returns, etc
Requirements include:
· Strong customer service skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication phone skills
· Mortgage experience preferred
· Government processing, FHA and VA experience a plus
· Ability to perform multiple responsibilities through effective prioritization and time management
· Ability to develop/maintain professional relationships with clients, customers and co-workers
