Bank Leumi USA is seeking a Loan Recovery Officer is its Special Loan Department.  Candidate will:

A. Develope and implement strategies to maximize collections on problem loans and assets.

B. Negotiate with the management of debtor companies, representatives of other creditors, and lending personnel from other financial institutions to secure appropriate repayment agreements. 

C. Providing technical advice and assistance to lending personnel regarding expedient identification and evaluation of deteriorating loan situations in order to recognize problem loans early and minimize losses.   

D. On larger and complex credits in multibank situations, work closely with officials of the lending and borrowing institutions to review and restructure credit and repayment terms.

E. Interact with attorneys and other professionals such as financial consultants. 

F. Interact and brief Senior Management, the Asset Recovery Committee, the Credit Committee, and/or the Loan Committee of the Board of Directors on developments and status of all loans and ORE assets both in verbal and written format.

Candidate MUST have at least 5 years experience in the COMMERCIAL LOAN RECOVERY field. Prior lending officer experience is also required. MBA degree preferred.

Candidate must have good verbal and written communicaiton skills and should be computer literate.
