PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Perform sound and unbiased analysis/evaluation of loan quality. Effectively communicate orally and in writing, and work well with others both inside and outside the department. Serve as a resource to the department in the area of expertise.
-Coordinate loan review work to be completed based on assessment of control environment and understanding of loan quality.
-Ongoing monitoring of criticized credits, loan delinquencies, and outstanding documentation requirements.
-Resource to Division and Corporation related to loan quality and adequacy of management's credit administration processes.
-Provide consultative reviews of loan quality as needed.
-Communicate verbally and in writing the results of work assigned.
-Coordinate and/or work on special projects/investigations.
-Ensure productive, coordinated relationships with regulators and external auditors.
-Up to date knowledge of area of expertise and corresponding Corporate policies and procedures.
-Consistently display a positive attitude with clients, division managers, and team members.
-Develop/enhance understanding of the industry and related rules and regulations, as well as an understanding of the internal systems and operations of the areas assigned within the team. Monitor and evaluate new developments and regulations.
-Support Senior Loan Review Management as needed.
-Ensure appropriate backup for all assigned functions.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelors Degree (Emphasis in Finance, Accounting or related major)
Licenses/Certification Professional certification preferred (CPA, Loan Review, Etc)
5+ years in Loan Reviews and/or Credit Analysis
