Loan Specialist (Biltmore)- Phoenix AZ
This position is responsible for the on-line processing of loan transactions, maintaining complete and accurate records of all bank loans, loan record archives, paid loans processing, and other duties associated with commercial loan servicing. Also responds to customer, loan officer and loan support inquiries relating to same.
A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required, as are 10-key by touch and typing of 45 wpm, and strong mathematics/accounting skills. Additionally, Level II requires at least one directly related experience. Level III requires at least two years directly related experience. Level IV requires 3-5 years directly related experience, preferably in a loan accounting department of a commercial bank. An understanding of the lending process, the different types of loans, repayment schedules and the calculation process necessary to verify interest, data entry skills, familiarity with an on-line system and a comprehension of overall bank operations are strongly desired for Levels I and II, and required for Levels III and IV. This position requires an employee who is a self-starter and can work with a minimum of supervision, who prioritizes duties on a daily basis to ensure timely processing of critical work, and who has strong verbal communications skills for extensive interaction with both customers and other employees.
