  • Manage performance of service providers including level of service, systems, administrative, and contract compliance through performance management feedback tools
  • Provide analytical support and recommendations to Target transportation management regarding contract/rate negotiations and service provider selection to manager our cost, capacity, coverage, and consistency
  • Communicate network capacity needs to business partners and ensure capacity requirements are in-line with contractual commitments; analyze market conditions and identify opportunities to lower aggregate transportation cost
  • Work with internal partner teams to drive further optimization of the network through routing/mode/location improvments

Requirements

  • 4-year degree
  • Ability to work independently and in a group environment
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Transportation Knowledge (Imports and/or Domestic) desired
