Position Summary:
Harte-Hanks, a leader in Direct Marketing, has a great opportunity for a customer focused, team oriented, professional with a foundation in the Logistics/Transportation industry. As a Logistics Coordinator, the qualified candidate will function as liaison between Harte-Hanks Logistics, and client location in Duluth, GA.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Manage inbound call leads for truckload revenue opportunities.
· Initiate quote process with prospective shippers.
· Negotiate truckload rates to secure transactions.
· Drive decision making process with internal / external customers.
· Develop and implement continuous improvement action plans for area of responsibility.

· Tenacity: Demonstrates initiative and drive to stay actively engaged with prospective shippers through the transaction life cycle.
· Independence: Internalizes objectives and excels on his/her own without constant supervision. Is self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic to continually strive to achieve results and delight clients.
Required Experience, Skills and Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred, with a concentration in logistics.
· Minimum 3 years operations/sales related experience in logistics/traffic management.
· Strong organizational & problem solving skills complemented by an excellent attention to detail.
· A high level of PC literacy with working knowledge of Excel is essential.
