Uline seeks a Logistics Engineer at its Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (just over the IL / WI state line).

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Design and execute racking, equipment and distribution layouts.
  • Develop, evaluate, document and improve operations methods to work area design, process flow and work methods.
  • Perform capacity planning and provide solutions for cost cutting through process upgrades.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting as required.
  • Ensure project completion within acceptable schedule and budget.
  • Conduct time studies and establish engineered standards as assigned.
  • Research and develop warehousing / distribution proposals for people, process and technology based solutions.
  • Create and deliver effective presentations regarding recommended solutions and alternatives for assigned initiatives.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor's degree. Major in Industrial Engineering a plus.
  • 3 - 5 years experience in a distribution / warehouse setting.
  • Prior experience with MS Office Suite, Excel and Access.
  • Experience specifying, purchasing, operating or maintaining warehouse equipment a plus.
  • Travel to Uline branches and international locations.
