Work closely with carriers and individual terminals to verify carriers have made delivery appointments meeting service requirements. Inform customers of shipments that are distressed or late. Identify shipments requiring expedited/special services and make arrangements as needed. Maintain records of orders held-for stock, short lead time, and other conditions affecting results of performance measurements. Prepare monthly on-time reports for individual carriers and customers.
To perform this job successfully, an applicant must be a high school graduate or equivalent and preferably 1 to 2 years related work experience. Good listening skills and communication skills is essential. Working knowledge of Word and Excel is required.
