Long-Term Opportunity for 2 Instructional Designers / Facilitators on Application Training

We are working with our client in locating two Technical
Instructional Designers needed to develop and deliver systems training. The
training is related to applications used for rate structures. The project is to
prepare for the changes related to the change in the rates and rate structure
in 2011. In addition, there is another
project related to energy efficiency and the various programs that need to be
implemented prior to 2011. The first deadline is June 30, 2010. The second deadline is December 31, 2010.
Deliverables will include a Participant Guide,
Leader/Facilitator Guide, Job Aids/Quick Reference Materials are the materials
that need to be produced. Development will be done in Word using templates.
SME’s are available and have the role of business liaison on the project. There
will be an overview complete by the end of November, which will give more detail
to the deliverables. An overall
assessment document is near completion.
Audience: The audience is vast—about 350 people in the
Customer Operations organization as well as some ancillary groups.
Requirements:
- Strong
Instructional Design (design and development) and facilitation skills
working on application training - Must
be able to work with SME’s - Knowledge
of Plateau’s LMS and Questionmark’s Perception are nice to haves but not
necessary. - Undergraduate
in Education or equivalent work experience, Instructional Design education
but degree is not necessary. - Work
samples required - Background
Checks and Drug Screening will be required - Creative
thinker or worker bee: A bit of both would be good but in the trenches
“worker bee” would be the choice.
Start Date: Third week of January
Duration: 1 year
