MANAGER ADMITTING - EMERGENCY ROOM

  • Oversee the registration process for the very busy Emergency Room at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, ensuring all patients are registered in a timely manner with all forms completed for compliance. The Manager also has responsibility for assisting with the development of and maintaining the budget for the ER registration department. Collaboration with the ER Clinical Manager to ensure patient throughput is efficient and timely will be expected. Responsibilities include managing a staff of 20 who cover the ER registration function 7 days per week, 24 hours per day.

    Requirements include a minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory position. Knowledge of medical insurance plans and demonstrated customer service experience is required. Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate prior successes in leading and motivating others to accomplish excellent work.
