Responsibilities:
- Manages billing department staff
- Oversees workflow
- Performs coaching, training, and evaluation of staff performance
- Manage on-site and remote billing staff, contracts, and other resources
- Communicates directly with all key departments to resolve issues related to invoicing, credits, and general Billing Department processes and procedures
- Continuously streamlines processes and procedures
- Oversees maintenance of the system pricing matrix for completeness and accuracy
- Ensures maintenance of department operational controls and processes
- Establishes and monitors department goals
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Telecommunications or Service Provider industry experience is required
- Minimum 5 years of Billing Operations experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related filed preferred
- Experience managing billing and collections departments
- Experience with billing system integration and migrations
- Proficient in billing and rating
- Ability to learn new processes, diagnose and suggest improvements and contribute to a continuous improvement atmosphere
- Strong customer service skills are imperative
- Self-motivated, ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Strong systems understanding and experience
- Team player
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to handle high stress situations in a fast paced environment
- Strong work ethic
