Our Client, located near Minneapolis / Saint Paul, Minnesota is seeking a Tour Bus Sales Manager with the following skills and/or abilities:
Confident with ability to pass a very thorough FBI-Like Background Check.
Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in the minimum guest service expectations.
Proven supervision of Tour Sales Team of approximately 5 members.
Solicit motor coach groups for sales opportunities to sell hotel rooms, day trips, sight-seeing cruises, golf and ski packages for the Casino / Resort.
Coordinate, setup and attend trade shows to promote tour, sight-seeing cruise, golf and ski packages.
Develop positive relationships with transportation companies, tour operators and public agencies.
Develop business plan and departmental budget.
Analyze weekly route numbers; Report trends, changes, cost effectiveness and losses to management.
Plan, implement, analyze and enforce player-tracking system for tour programs.
Effectively communicate with other departments including Advertising, Sales, Player Development and Gaming to ensure proper staffing levels are in place for large tour bus groups.
Oversee incoming calls, scheduling, transportation, hosting, payment and reconciliation.
Determine guidelines for department in terms of tour aspects.
Insure guidelines plus procedures and policies of all programs are followed.
Establish goals and objectives for team members.
Observe performance and complete performance evaluations.
