Cardiocom is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Engineer. The candidate’s primary responsibility will be the development and implementation of methodologies/techniques to enhance product reliability.  The candidate will be required to analyze and test PCB’s, identify and execute manufacturing process development, execute process capability studies, improve product design and provide leadership to manufacturing assembly. 

Responsibilities:

·         Improving product quality through:

o       Device/PCB troubleshooting

o       Quality analysis using the CAPA system

o       Apply six sigma methodology as appropriate

·         Continuous Improvement

o       Writing and revising processes, procedures, work instructions and schematics

o       Working with suppliers for corrective actions

o       Ensuring compliance with GMP’s and internal protocol

·         Concurrent Engineering

o       Supporting new product development with design, verification and validation

o       Design manufacturing operations layout and equipment for the assembly line

·         Improve line efficiency:

o       Programming for assembly line test and manufacture operations

o       Process evaluation and improvements

·         Provide floor process leadership

Qualifications:

Education:        4 year degree in Engineering or other associates in electronics with equivalent experience.

Experience:       Three to five years hands-on experience in a GMP and ISO9001 environment is preferred. Medical device experience preferred.
